Today begins your 4-day get-a-way to paradise!! Before you leave for the airport be sure to take a minute to check your carry-on luggage for your airline ticket, proof of citizenship, prescription medicines needed during your stay, eyeglasses, and anything else that you “just have to have”.
Plan to check in at your home airport at least two hours prior to departure time. Please be sure that you have attached a Windstream ELITE Grand Cayman 2014 luggage tag to each piece of luggage and that the airline checks your bags straight through to your final destination of Grand Cayman. The airport code on your luggage claim checks should say GCM. Once you have checked in at the airport, sit back, relax and enjoy the flight.

Upon arrival at the Grand Cayman International Airport, please claim your luggage and proceed through customs. Upon exiting customs, Windstream Travel Staff as well as local staff members will be on hand to assist you with your luggage and escort you to your waiting transportation that will take you to the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa.
As you arrive at the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa, you will be guided to the Windstream ELITE Hospitality area where you will check-in, grab your room keys and receive your Welcome Packet filled with all the information on the program. Check-in will be quick and hassle-free, because we have pre-registered your room for you, and have taken care of hotel porters’ gratuities. For the next four days, the Windstream ELITE Hospitality Desk will remain open and the Travel Staff will be available to assist with any questions that you may have.
After some time to explore the lush grounds and relax a bit, join your Windstream hosts for our “Grand Cayman Welcome.” Enjoy drinks, a delicious Cayman buffet, and get into the rhythm of the local band, Island Vibes which will entertain throughout the evening remind you that you have arrived in paradise!! Get your feet in the sand, leave your cares behind…Welcome to Grand Cayman!

Start your first morning off right with a great breakfast buffet served in Ferdinand’s Restaurant. Choose to sit inside or outside on the patio with the gorgeous views of the beach inches from you. When the bill arrives, put your name, room number and “Windstream” on the check. Sign it and you are on your way.
Stingray City Sandbar is one of the top Grand Cayman attractions and we’ve included it in our program for all participants, however we need to split the activity over two days in order for everyone to enjoy this unique experience. Half of the group will be participating in the group activity while the other half will be enjoying the optional activities available and tomorrow…we switch!! Stingray City is home to a whole fleet of southern stingrays which congregates near the shore. The stingrays began gathering in the area decades ago when fisherman used to clean fish on the shallow sand bars. Soon the stingrays began to associate the sound of a boat motor with food. In the late 1980s, divers started feeding squid to the stingrays, one of their favorite foods. Today, Stingray City Sandbar is a readily accessible, once-in-a-lifetime experience for anyone who wishes to see one of nature’s most majestic creatures up close. Refer to your confirmation to see what day you are confirmed to participate in the group activity according to your region.
For those attendees who will be enjoying the optional activities today, hope you are ready for one of the many fascinating activity options available in Grand Cayman. Some optional activities include a magnificent spa treatment at the Hibiscus Spa, golfers can enjoy a round of golf, wave runner snorkel safari, horseback riding, Scuba diving and of course a relaxing island tour.
Lunch is at leisure upon your return to the hotel today. Choose from a number of hotel outlets available for you.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy; swim, nap, relax by the pool, it’s up to you to enjoy as you wish! The Windstream ELITE Travel Staff will be on hand for any questions you may have as well as restaurant menus, recommendations and reservations for tomorrow night’s dine around.
Tonight, we celebrate another terrific year with Windstream at our Recognition Banquet! Enjoy an exquisite menu prepared for you by the chef, followed by a delicious dessert that will have your mouth-watering along with your beverage of choice finished by coffee or tea. Tonight is a great time to share stories of your Stingray City adventure or optional activities today as friends and colleagues get ready to experience the fun tomorrow.
After dinner, hope you are ready to party with all the best tunes to get on you on the dance floor and make you want to move non-stop!!!

It’s another gorgeous morning in Cayman...make your way down to breakfast at Ferdinand’s Restaurant and enjoy the buffet along with the great views as you take that first sip of coffee. Again, when you are finished, sign your name, room number and “Windstream” and we will take care of the rest.
Like yesterday, it’s time for the second group to enjoy the fun times at Stingray City while those who enjoyed it yesterday will have the opportunity to relax with a spa treatment, golf or choose one of many options available. This afternoon, please don’t forget to stop by the Windstream ELITE Hospitality Desk after 2:00pm today to pick up your cash allowance for dinner tonight as well as departure information for tomorrow. Tonight, enjoy exploring the gastronomy at the Westin or off property at one of many Grand Cayman restaurants for your dine around option. Breakfast this morning is at leisure, so take your time and enjoy your final morning in paradise!! There are no planned activities, so take the time to do that last bit of sunning or shopping that you haven’t managed to do yet before departing for the airport.
Your Windstream ELITE Travel Staff will be available to help with checkout and transfers today. Staff will also be at the airport to assist.
Lunch is available for those guests who have a late afternoon flight.
