During your Windstream ELITE Grand Cayman 2013 program you and your guest will have the choice of one hosted activity either on Tuesday, April 8 or on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 depending on what day you will be confirmed for our group activity at Stingray City.
You may select from the following options: Golf at North Sound Club, Hibiscus Spa, Waverunner Snorkel Safari Tour, Atlantis Underwater Submarine Tour, West Side Island Jeep Safari or hop on the Shopping Shuttle to George Town & Camana Bay.
(Since Windstream must pay for your activity in advance to guarantee it for you, you will not be able to change activities on-site. A confirmation of your chosen activity will be sent to you along with your final travel documents approximately 2 weeks prior to your departure). We suggest that you speak with friends before choosing an activity if you would like to be together.
The North Sound Golf Club
Activity Includes: Roundtrip Taxi Transportation. 18 Holes Green Fees and Cart Fees. A limited number of clubs are available for rental at each guest’s own expense for those who need them.
Dress Code: Bermuda Shorts or Slacks with a collared shirt is recommended. No jeans or cut-offs. Metal spikes are not allowed.
Golf Shoes: Golf shoes or golf sandals with soft spikes are highly recommended but sneakers are permitted as well. No other types of shoes are allowed on the course. This is for personal safety and to prevent damage to the course.
Time: Tee times will be assigned and confirmed upon arrival in Grand Cayman.
Waverunner Snorkel Safari Tour
Embark on a guided Snorkel Safari aboard your very own waverunner. After a wet n' wild ride along Seven Mile Beach, the snorkeling begins. Your first snorkel stop will be the famous Cemetery Reef where in the shallow 15 feet depth you will see some of the best underwater sea life that can be found. From here you will head over to Boggy Sand's Reef where you will have time to explore the colorful reefs and tropical fish. Finally its back on board your waverunner for the exhilerating ride back to Seven Mile Beach.
Activity Includes: Single waverunner per guest, Professional guide, snorkel equipment and safety instructions, all taxes.
What to Wear and Bring: Casual attire (shorts/skirt and t-shirt) with swim suit underneath, sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.
Times: Tour lasts 1 1/2 hours. There will be 3 different tour times: 9:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm. They will be booked based on first come first serve. We will do all possible to confirm you at the same time as your guest.
Atlantis Underwater Submarine
The Atlantis XI Submarine is the world's first submarine designed specifically for underwater passenger excusions. The submarine features contour seating which accommodate up to 42 passengers comfortably, with a series of portholes on both sides of the vessel's hull to provide excellent viewing. Even at 100 feet below sea level the smooth ride and clarity of the water will amaze you as you explore the Underwater Marine Park. The submarine's air conditioned cabin remains at sea level pressure at all times (no effect on the ears).
The tour will go through the southwest section of the Cayman Islands National Marine Park which is well known for its prolific marine life. You will be able to see vast coral canyons of the National Park as the vessel moves through the clear water which will give passengers a great idea as to why the marine life here has made Grand Cayman so famous.
Activity Includes: Roundtrip transportation, pre-dive briefing and scenic tour before reaching dive site, English speaking guide to coordinate.
What to Wear and Bring: Casual attire (shorts/skirt and t-shirt) hat and sunglasses, comfortable flat shoes, and camera!
Time: Tour lasts about 45 minutes
West Side Island Jeep Safari
The tour begins with a drive by the Governor's Residence located on the Famous Seven Mile Beach and called the West Bay district. Many historic and traditional Caymanian homes are located here. Your first stop will be at Boatswain's Beach, home of Grand Cayman's famous Sea Turtle farm - the only one of its kind in the world! You will be able to take pictures while holding the turtles from newborns to some weighing as much as 600 pounds!
Next, you will ride to Hell and back! Hell is a popular attraction named so because in the 1930's, Commissioner Cardinal from England was shooting and missed his target and uttered the words "Oh Hell"! and the name has stuck. Take photos, send a postcard to friends and family mailed from "Hell".
Your tour will continue to a Rum Cake center where you will be able to sample the many flavors of Cayman's Rum Cakes. You will be able to purchase some as souvenirs for friends and family back home if you wish. You final stop will be in George Town where you will have about an hour to stroll the duty free shops before heading back to the hotel.

Time: Tour is approximately 3 hours
Shopping Shuttle to George Town and Camana Bay
If you are coming all the way to Grand Cayman, you need to check out the duty-free shops in George Town. Shop for items such as perfumes, watches, jewelry, clothes and much more!
Another new locale is Camana Bay. With boutique shopping, multi-cultural dining options and restaurants.

Time: Shuttle will be available for 4 hours. Guests can choose to stay longer if they wish and take a taxi back to the hotel when ready.
