Finally, the day you have been waiting for…your Windstream ELITE Riviera Maya 2014 program!! Before you leave for the airport, be sure to take a minute to check your carry-on luggage for your airline e-ticket itinerary, passport, prescription medicines needed during your stay, sunglasses, and anything else that you “must have”.
Plan to check in at the airport at least two hours prior to departure time as it is an international destination. Please be sure that you have attached a Windstream ELITE Riviera Maya 2014 luggage tag to your luggage and that the airline checks your bags straight through to your final destination of Cancun. The airport code on your luggage claim checks should say CUN.
Welcome to Paradise!!!
Upon arrival at the Mexico International Airport, you will claim your luggage and proceed through customs. Upon exiting Customs, continue straight ahead until you exit the building where you will be greeted by Windstream ELITE Travel Staff as well as local staff with Riviera Maya 2014 and Windstream ELITE signs. They will show you to your air-conditioned transportation and assist you all the way to your home for the next 4 days – Grand Velas Riviera Maya (All-inclusive). Staff members will work with and tip porters to facilitate a smooth transfer of your luggage from the airport to your room at the hotel.
As you arrive at the hotel, you will be guided to the Windstream ELITE Hospitality Desk where you will check-in and receive your room key packet along with your customized Welcome Packet filled with information that will be helpful during your time on the Riviera Maya. We have pre-registered your room for you and have taken care of hotel porters’ gratuities, just leave your credit card information with the hotel representative so they have it on file for any incidentals incurred during your stay. For the next four days, the Windstream ELITE Hospitality Desk will remain open and the Travel Staff will be available to assist with any questions you may have.
Now that you have arrived, kick off your shoes and take a stroll to the beach, enjoy the view from your very own private terrace or just relax and take in the tropical beauty of your new luxurious surroundings.
Tonight, join your friends at Windstream for your very own private Riviera Maya Welcome Dinner. This is a great opportunity to catch up with friends, old and new, while admiring the local music provided by a Mariachi band and a Caribbean trio. Enjoy an abundance of food and local cocktails while you take in your surroundings and listen to the waves crash against the shoreline. This is just the beginning of what is waiting for you in the days to come…enjoy and welcome to Grand Velas Riviera Maya!!!

Buenos dias, Good Morning!!! Enjoy a full American buffet breakfast at your leisure before venturing off on our half-day catamaran snorkel tour with lunch and beverages courtesy of your Windstream hosts. Feel the wind as the crew navigates thru the crystal clear waters of the Riviera Maya and sails along the second largest barrier reef in the world. Incredible coral formations and a breathtaking variety of colorful sea life are right below you.
Lunch and open bar will be served after snorkeling.
Upon returning to the hotel, the rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy; swim, nap, relax by the pool, it’s all yours! The Windstream ELITE Travel Staff is available for any questions you may have as well as providing restaurant menus, recommendations and reservations for tomorrow night’s dinner at your choice of Grand Velas restaurants.
Our Recognition Banquet tonight includes a gourmet plated dinner to celebrate a great year with Windstream Communications! Enjoy the wonderful menu with exotic flavors that has been specially prepared for you along with your beverage of choice and coffee or tea. Tonight we celebrate you and your success this year at Windstream! It is also a great time to share stories of your adventures today and other memories that will last.

Whatever you choose, do not forget to stop by the Windstream ELITE Hospitality Desk after 2:00pm today to pick up your departure information and finalize your reservations for your dinner tonight.
At Tulum, experience the only walled city built by Mayans along the Caribbean. This ancient cliff-top fortress with spectacular views was so formidable in its day that it discouraged the Spanish from stopping in the area. From Tulum, you’ll continue to Playa del Carmen for some shopping before heading back to the hotel.

Later, it’s time to say adios. You’re off to the Mexico International Airport for your flight back to the States The Windstream ELITE Travel Staff distributed individualized departure information yesterday and will handle motorcoach transfers to the airport as well as all porterage tips at the hotel. As you settle into your seat on your flight home, remember all of the fun and exciting things you did and experienced while on your Windstream ELITE Riviera Maya 2014 program. You deserved it!
