You and your guest will have the choice of one complimentary activity on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. (These can be different activities)

You may select from the following options:

 

 

Windstream is required to pre-pay all activity fees so please take a minute to select the one that will best fit you and your guest. Each activity has a predetermined number of spaces so some activities may fill up. We will do everything we can to accommodate but it will be difficult to change on-site.  A confirmation of your chosen activity will be sent to you along with your final travel documents approximately 2 weeks prior to your departure. We suggest that you speak with friends before choosing an activity if you would like to be together.  

Grand Coral Riviera Maya Golf Course

Grand Coral Riviera Maya Resort – A Nick Price designed golf course that is eco-sensitive to the existing environment and capitalizes on the beauty of its location next to the sea.

Activity Includes: 18 holes green fees & shared cart, 2 bottles of water per player.  A limited number of clubs are available for rental. Currently the cost for club rentals are $55.00 plus 16% VAT tax but prices are subject to change without notice.

Dress Code: Nice shorts or pants with a collared shirt are recommended. No jeans or cut-offs. Golf shoes with soft spikes are highly recommended but sneakers are permitted as well. No other types of shoes are allowed on the course including those with metal spikes. This is for personal safety and to prevent damage to the course.

Time: Departure time from the hotel is typically at 7:30 am with an estimated return by 1:00pm but may vary depending on your exact tee time. Tee times will be confirmed at the Windstream Hospitality desk at check-in.

Waverunner & Snorkel at Punto Venado

You will depart from the Blue Venado Beach Club on a waverunner and ride to North Beach, which is known as the most beautiful beach in the Riviera Maya. Here you can snorkel and discover the amazing underwater world. You will appreciate the most colorful variety of fish, sea urchins, coral and other species. After a half hour, ride back to the Blue Venado Beach while you will have some free time to relax and enjoy a light snack and cold water before returning to the hotel.  

Activity Includes:Waverunner ride (single or double), professional guide, snorkel equipment, safety instructions, light snack and bottled water.

What to Wear and Bring:Casual attire – shorts, t-shirt and swim suit, sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.

Time: Depart hotel at 10:15 am and return at approximately 2:00 pm.

ATVs at Punto Venado

This ATV Adventure ride (single or double) will take you through a jungle trail that leads to an astonishing underground cavern. You will have a chance to explore the fascinating rock formations and crystal clear cenote in a paradise-like setting, as well as relax and swim here.

Activity Includes: ATV Adventure ride, helmet & goggles, bilingual ATV guide, bottled water.

What to Wear and Bring:Casual attire – shorts, t-shirt and swim suit, hat and sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable flat shoes, and camera!

Time: Depart hotel at 10:15 am and return at approximately 2:00 pm.

Delphinus Dolphin Ride

The Delphinus Dolphin Ride will give you a chance to interact with dolphins both in and out of the water. You will swim freely with the dolphins and get a chance to take a spin around the dolphinarium with the Dorsal Pull. Hang on tight!

Activity Includes: Swimming with dolphins, trainer's assistance

What to Wear and Bring:Casual attire – shorts, t-shirt and swim suit, comfortable flat shoes and sunscreen.

Time: We have booked 2 times for this activity. First group will depart the hotel at 7:45 am and return at 10:15 am and the second group will depart hotel at 12:45 pm and return at 3:15 pm. Dolphin encounter lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Selvatica Extreme Canopy Zip Line Adventure

The Zip Line Adventure will begin in “Central Vallarta” where the park is located.  Once you arrive, the staff will provide all equipment along with safety instructions. The circuit includes 11 zip lines totaling 1 ½ miles in length. After the zip line circuit, the guides will take everyone via a 4x4 truck to the “cenote” (sinkhole) located a mile away where you can swim and refresh in the crystal clear waters.

Activity Includes:Zip line circuit, 4x4 truck ride to cenote for swimming, light lunch, bottled water, lockers for storage. **Maximum weight for the zip line is 260 pounds.

What to Wear and Bring:Light clothing with swim suit underneath and comfortable shoes, Sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel.

Time: Depart hotel at 9:30 am and return at 3:30 pm.

 

Visit to Tulum with a Shopping Stop in Playa del Carmen

Experience the only walled city built by the Mayans along the Caribbean. This ancient fortress, situated on top of a cliff overlooking the coast, was so formidable in its day that the Spanish by-passed the area on their way to conquering the peninsula. The views are impressive and the site offers a unique look back in time. Several structures still have original paintings on the walls.

On the return trip there will be some optional time to shop in Playa del Carmen before returning to the hotel if you choose to do so. The main strip, Avenida 5, is a pedestrian walkway that runs through Playa del Carmen. It is lined with shops, bars, restaurants, gelato shops and more.... 
Shops range from international brand names to local handicraft stalls and two small shopping malls. 

Activity Includes: Roundtrip air-conditioned transfer, experienced bilingual guides, guided tour of Tulum, roundtrip train ride through the archeological site, bottled water & sodas, snacks, cold towel, all taxes and gratuities.

What to Wear and Bring: Light clothing and comfortable shoes, sunglasses, hat or cap, sunscreen, camera and money for shopping. No videotaping in the archeological site or a fee will be assessed. Photos with a regular camera are allowed.

Time: Depart hotel at 8:30 am and return at approximately 2:00 pm

Author’s Spa

Treatments (Please choose one treatment per person).

What to Wear: Loose comfortable clothing. Please plan to arrive at the spa at least 60 minutes prior to your treatment to take advantage of the 7 Step Water Journey or 20 minutes prior to your treatment if you do not wish to take part in the Water Journey.

Times: Your treatment time will be confirmed on the activity confirmation that will be mailed with your travel documents which will arrive approximately two weeks prior to departure.
